Community Spirit in Niseko
Skye Niseko are proud to sponsor this year's Hirafu Community Clean Up event. As part of the ongoing efforts to preserve the beautiful winter which we love and know in Niseko, locals gather to clean away rubbish in the area.
The annual spring cleaning has become a tradition in Hirafu Village with the initiative for the event starting years ago. Local businesses around the resort come out in great numbers to support the community event by donating the time of their staff, prizes as well as hosting a BBQ for participants.
Splitting into groups, locals have spent the afternoon collecting rubbish from around the community and a great way of giving back to the environment that has given each of us so much.
With another successful winter season bringing in almost a million guests, Skye Niseko and other local business are committed to ensuring that the resort stays in pristine condition throughout all seasons.
