Government officially announced that the GoTo Campaign is no longer available for bookings that check-in or check-out during the period 28 December 2020 to 7 February 2021.

Per the recent government announcement, the GoTo Campaign Subsidy and associated Regional ("Chiiki") Coupons are no longer available for bookings that check-in or check-out during the period 28 December 2020 to 7 February 2021.


Skye Niseko remains open for bookings and we remain dedicated to the Covid-19 prevention measures we have put in place.

For Guests with Existing Bookings who have booked directly with Skye Niseko and Applied for the GoTo Travel Campaign through StayNavi

For guests who would like to keep their existing booking for this period: we are very happy to have you stay with us. The resort is still open, and guests are still traveling to experience the amazing snow this season. As the subsidy value for your booking has now been suspended, the full outstanding balance payment is required to confirm your reservation. However, for all guests who have been affected by this unfortunate change, we will be providing complimentary food and beverage vouchers to use during your stay.

Values of any vouchers will vary depending on the reservation details, please contact our team to confirm details specific to your reservation.


For guests who would like to cancel: the total amount paid for your accommodation booking will be refunded.

  • The refund will be processed to your Japanese bank account; we will ask you to send us your bank account details to process the refund. Note that a 550yen administration fee will be applied.
  • Refunds will be processed in the order received and there may be some delays in processing. Refunding to the credit card used for payment will also be possible, however processing may take 1-2 months (or longer).

  • Only bookings that have been approved to receive the GoTo Subsidy by 7 January 2021 will be eligible to receive free cancellation.
  • Any cancellation request must be received before 5 pm Sunday, 17 January 2021. For cancellations processed after this time, our standard Terms and Conditions apply.

For Guests with Existing Bookings who have booked with a Travel Agency

For guests who have made your reservation with a travel agency: Please contact your travel agent regarding cancellation of your reservation. We understand that there may be a delay in reaching their teams due to the high number of bookings affected. However, Skye Niseko cannot process and refund or cancellation request on our end. These requests must be processed through the travel agent you booked with.


Additionally, please note that the Terms and Conditions of your travel agency, including cancellation terms, apply to your booking. Direct reservation terms and agent terms may vary.
