Cherry Blossom returns to Niseko for 2026, marking the arrival of another beautiful spring.

As the final winter snow continues to grace the peak of Mt Yotei, the valley below awakens with the soft whispers of spring - a beautiful and fleeting transition of the seasons.

The Best of Niseko’s Cherry Blossom

This year, the cherry blossoms arrived approximately two weeks earlier than usual, inviting an early sense of renewal to the region. We anticipate the full bloom to coincide beautifully with the first half of Golden Week. At Makkari Shrine, a stunning canopy of Ezo-Yamazakura pave the way leading up to the shrine, offering a breathtaking picturesque with Mt Yotei as your backdrop.
