Rafting is an essential Niseko experience during the warmer months. Enjoy the natural splendour of the area by taking a cool ride down the Shiribetsu River.
Whether you are seeking an adrenaline rush or a tranquil float through serene natural surroundings (or both), Niseko's Shiribetsu River affords opportunities for a host of different adventures. Niseko Adventure Centre (NAC) is our recommendation for rafting and other water-based activities during your stay. We will be here to assist you with making bookings for any of the activities below.

Rafting
Experience the thrill and excitement of river rafting down the Shiribetsu River. In Spring, the water levels rise, producing thrilling Grade 3-4 rapids and is the best time for exciting rapids. Summer rafting is more relaxed and family-oriented along with spectacular views, perfect for children and beginners.

FAMILY COURSE RAFTING TOUR

Age Requirement: 3+ (for each child aged 3-6 on the tour, there must be one adult accompanied)

PLATINUM COURSE RAFTING TOUR

Price: 1 Boat : ¥120,000
Spring course : 1 to 28 people (up to 7 people per raft, max 4 raft)
Summer course : 1 to 36 people (up to 9 people per raft, max 4 raft)
Ducky
Similar to rafting but in a smaller boat, ducky is a good alternative for those who want a more independent experience on the rapids. Ride as a pair or take control of your own individual vessel. The ducky experience gives you freedom to choose your own path down the river while an experienced guide leads and gives you directions to keep you safe.

River Kayaking
Soak up the scenery in Niseko as you paddle either a solo or tandem kayak down part of the Shiribetsu River. An experienced guide will accompany you on your journey.

Age Requirement: 7+ (7-12 year old child have to be in tandem with over 13 years old person)

River SUP
Try Stand Up Paddle Boarding (SUP) in Niseko this summer. SUP Bords are stable and easy to stand up on. The popular water activity is a fun way to get close to nature.

Age Requirement: 6+
Adult (13+): ¥6,800 ・Yth (6-12): ¥4,600
- Bookings must be made at least 72 hours in advance of the tour.
- From 7 to 4 days prior to the tour date, 50% will be charged for any cancellations.
- Cancelling within 3 days of the tour date will incur a 100% cancellation fee.
- Tours may be cancelled at any time to NAC due to unsafe weather. In this case guests will be offered an alternative date for the tour, or a full refund.
