Group Ski & Snowboard Lessons

This service is not available for 2020-21.

Please note the following information relates to last season. The information will be updated and the service will be available to book once prices and details are released by our supplier.

GoSnow provides a wide selection of group lessons for kids and adults alike.

All of GoSnow's Group Lessons enjoy private access to dedicated learning areas, plus priority lift access to the Hirafu Gondola, Holiday Pair, Ace Quad (Center Four) and Ace Family Pair lifts.

Adult Group Lessons

Full and half day ski and snowboard lessons. Full day lessons break for lunch at 12:30 p.m.

  • Maximum 6 students per class.
  • Registration is at 9:45 a.m.
  • Lessons start at the GoSnow meeting area at the Gondola base.
  • First Timer to Intermediate levels require a Grand Hirafu lift ticket.
  • Advanced level adults should book a workshop instead.


Adult Group Skills Chart

Ninja Kids (3-6 years) (Ski only)

Ninja Kids new to the sport will benefit from their own dedicated Learning Zone and Magic Carpet, while experienced skiers will have the easiest access Grand Hirafu's beginner bowl or Family run and high speed Gondola. Please note that this program is available for ski only (not snowboard).

This program includes a Kids' Passport to help track progress.

  • Maximum 6 per class
  • Lessons start at the GoSnow meeting area at the Gondola Base
  • Private Magic Carpets at both the Gondola Base and Family Base
  • Breaks are provided throughout the day at our Ninja Kids Club
  • Full Day lessons include lunch
  • Grand Hirafu lift pass is required for all levels

Yama Riders (7-15 years)

Full and half day ski and snowboard programs for kids aged 7–15.

This program includes a Kids' Passport to help track progress.

  • Full day lessons include lunch
  • Grand Hirafu lift pass required for first timer to novice levels
  • All Mountain lift pass required for intermediate to advanced levels

Teen Ski Program (13-17 years)

Go Snow 2019 Yama Riders Lr 2

The Teen Ski Program allows teens to rip around the mountain with other teens of the same ability.

  • Full Day only (includes lunch)
  • Ski only
  • Maximum 8 participants per class
  • Novice, Intermediate & Advanced Levels only
  • All Mountain Lift Ticket is required for Intermediate & Advanced levels
  • The Teen Ski Program will be available from 16 December 2019 to 31 January 2020 only
  • This booking service is exclusive to guests staying in Skye Niseko.
  • Bookings must be made at least 72 hours in advance.
  • Equipment rental is not included in the lesson price and must be arranged separately.
  • Lift tickets are obligatory and are not included in the lesson price. They are required for all lifts including the magic carpets.
  • Please arrive with your snowsports gear and lift ticket ready to use.
  • Minimum age of participation is 3 years old for ski lessons and 7 years old for snowboard lessons.
  • Payment for Concierge bookings is due 7 days prior to check-in. We reserve the right to cancel without notice any unpaid service by this due date.
  • Cancellation 8 to 4 days prior to the lesson start date will incur a 20% cancellation charge.
  • Cancellation 3 days or less prior to the lesson start date will incur a 100% cancellation charge.
  • Cancellation includes changes that reduce the overall value of the booking and no shows.
